2. Simple Carbohydrates – they are considered to be the “Bad Guys”. They comprise of sugar molecules which get quickly digested into our body. This energy is stored as glycogen in our cells and not used immediately, thus converted into fat. Extremely low in fiber and other nutrients, they contain empty calories and thus make one feel more tired. Also since all the simple carbohydrate foods are high in glycemic index, they are known to increase blood sugar levels and thus not recommended, especially for diabetics.
These are candies and other deserts, sugar coated cereals, aerated beverages and other drinks, white bread, etc.
Carbohydrates are everywhere. Its not just breads, rice or pasta, but also nuts, seeds, vegetables ,fruits, milk and dairy contain carbohydrates.
So are carbs good and bad? The answer is Both. But choosing the “Best carbohydrate Rich foods” is the key to weight loss.
