We, women, are always curious and interested to know about fitness, nutrition, calories, weight loss and similar “health” information but still many of us struggle to lose our weight and often resort to eating and other unnatural, unhealthy habits to lose weight.
We all crave for eating junk food or while some may like to call it ‘comfort food’. Women and men both do it.
But have you ever felt surprised how men hardly get worried or paranoid about their eating habits! Men tend to be more chilled out when it comes to handling their “weight” issues.
I have not seen any man undergo the horrible crash dieting methods or surviving on minuscule servings of food. So, let’s take a mindful from our opposite sex! Here, are my observations and learning from men of how not to freak out over our weight and eating issues and still manage to eat healthy and fresh:
1) Stop Craving for Sweets
It’s not that men don’t like sweets, but they don’t crave for sweets, cakes and chocolates the way we do. They are inclined more towards healthy things like meat, milk and chicken. So they remain fit instead of getting fat.
2) If you are upset, Food is not an answer
If the maid took a day off or you had PMS or you’re work is driving you crazy, doesn’t mean the relief lies in binge eating. Guys don’t eat if they are upset over something. Go for a walk, get some fresh air or do something relaxing and work it out…..
3) ‘ME’ Time
Men mostly find time for themselves. They remain alone for some amount of time in a day, while women are tied up with household chores or kids. Instead, if women take out some time for themselves and unwind, then they would realize that food and worrying over problems can never be the solution.
4) Stop Treating Your Stomach as a Trash can
Eat fresh, not the food kept in fridge for days. It is not healthy. And do not eat leftover by kids if you’re full. MAKE IT A RULE. Guys don’t do all this things. They eat fresh food. We too should have the same.
